The strategy mandates that any service or product procured by an NHS Acute Trust must be compliant with GS1 standards and PEPPOL, this includes a requirement on suppliers to place master product and price data in a GS1 GDSN (Global Data Sychronisation Network) certified data pool. We will be hosting a number of supplier/service provider engagement days over the next 21 months and we are asking suppliers/service providers to express their interest in attending these events in order to better understand the requirements for GS1 and PEPPOL standards implementation and compliance.
