This tender relates to specific provision for children and young people aged between 8 years and up to the young person's 18th birthday with complex health needs, a severe learning disability and behaviour which is challenging for carers to manage, including behaviour that poses a risk of harm to the child or others, and/or profound or multiple learning difficulties (including additional physical disabilities and complex health needs). These children and young people will live within Weymouth and Portland, North Dorset and West Dorset. The contracts will cover the period 1 October 2015 to 31 March 2016. We are seeking up to a maximum of Four (4) Service Providers for both Service A (Lot 1) and Service B (Lot 2) who will form preferred provider frameworks, to enable families to have choice. A single provider will be appointed to the framework for Service C (Lot 3).
