Prior to this date, both organisations were part of a single body, known as English Heritage. A significant proportion of the IMT services are currently outsourced to an external provider whose contract ends on 31 January 2017 and cannot be extended further. New arrangements are being put in place to enable new services to be delivered from 1 February 2017. Historic England (HE) are transitioning to a disaggregated ‘multi-sourcing’ service model fo their IT service provider. Historic England is seeking a supplier to provide technical support services to support this transition and to provide IT technical advice to the associated procurements and transitional activities.
