The project relocates services from within the existing Cavendish Suite and Suite one and four where the size and layout of the building is inhibiting the Trusts ability to increase their capacity for cancer care. The increase in capacity allowed for within the brief for the new building is approximately 50 percent larger than the existing facilities. The vision for the new building is to create a high quality cancer care services outpatient unit through the provision of a new, modern building which incorporates new ways of working. Extensive briefing has been carried out to ensure that the client’s aspirations in this regard are being captured.
