This appointment is to support the construction of this new £14 million building, the early works for which will be constructed by Willmott Dixon under a direct award against the SCAPE framework agreement and are due to start later in the autumn. Although only the early works are budgeted for to date, the appointed consultants are intended to carry the project through to ultimate completion. R105/R106 is the new Facilities Support Building for ISIS, planned to be constructed on the existing footprint of the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory at Harwell.
