This specification is for the delivery of a SARC service for adults and young people, aged 16 years and above, where decided to be clinically appropriate. The service must be flexible, easily accessible and victim centred, the SARC will play a vital role in meeting the needs of those adults and young people who have difficulty engaging with services. It is essential that there is effective integrated working between the SARC and the paediatric forensic provision to ensure the most appropriate response is given.
