NHS 111 is a national health line designed to assist callers with non-emergency healthcare needs. Users access the service by dialling a free phone number 111. The logo for the service is ‘Call 111 when it’s less urgent than 999’ YAS is a NHS 111 service provider across the Yorkshire and Humber region which is one of the largest geographical areas in England, with a population of 5.3million potential callers. As such YAS has a contractual obligation to actively seek feedback from service-users to assess service quality. YAS / NHS 111 are therefore looking to utilise an external company that will provide a sense of independent assurance to the commissioners of the service. This will consist of postal surveys and analyses of the returns; additionally providing timely reports, summary presentations of high level results and user comments. Interested parties must possess Care Quality Commission accreditation in order to be considered for this procurement opportunity. There is no commitment to spend under this contract, nor guarantee of work. The Trust reserves the right to not award a contract under this procurement. Contract intended start date – 22nd June 2015 ### Initial end date – 21st June 2017 ### Extension end date 21st June 2018 (if invoked) The Trust reserves the right to deviate from all given timescales should the need arise.
