Bids are invited from companies with the ability to install fibre optic cable to a good and professional standard, and who can mobilise very quickly on the following projects. - Goldsmiths have an urgent requirement to upgrade some of the interconnections between various buildings to ensure a minimum connection speed of 10Gb. (The GREEN routes). - To improve the resilience of the IT network in general there is a requirement to install diversified network cabling routes between some of the buildings. Again, these are to be at a minimum connection speed of 10Gb. (The PURPLE routes). All the Green routes, and Purple Routes Number 1 and Number 13, MUST be in place by the 1st of July 2015 so only companies who can meet this deadline need apply.
