The priorities below reflect the Children and Young People’s Plan and are consistent with the needs of the wards in Walsall. However, the balance of need will vary. - Fewer young people offending or engage in Anti-Social Behaviour - Contributing to the Not in Education Employment or Training (NEET Agenda) - Increase young people’s participation in community cohesion - Supporting and providing services to children and young people who are identified as vulnerable i.e. young carers, looked after The service provider must address in a co-ordinated way, these priorities and meet the identified needs of the wards they are submitting an application for, with a focus on the age range of 9-19 (up to 24 years; with LDD) with proposals aimed at reaching 25% of the youth population for the ward. We require proposals that have an evidence base for successfully delivering projects and improving outcomes for children & young people, however we will be utilising the use of the Outcome Star for the purpose of this programme.
