The service should be provided within these two localities with approx. 360 patient and have robust links to interdependent services such as genitourinary medicine/sexual health to ensure seamless pathway for patients. The intention is for the provision of a hub and spoke model that supports and promotes network working. Adult specialist services for patients infected with HIV include inpatient care for HIV related conditions in Adult Specialist HIV Treatment Centres and outpatient care provided by these Specialist Centres including outreach when delivered as part of a provider network.
