The priorities below reflect the Children and Young People’s Plan and are consistent with the needs of the wards in Walsall. However, the balance of need will vary: - Fewer young people offending or engage in Anti-Social Behaviour - Contributing to reducing the numbers Not in Education Employment or Training (NEET Agenda) - Increase young people’s contribution to developing and maintaining cohesive communities - Supporting and providing services to children and young people who are identified as vulnerable e.g. young carers, looked after children and young people The service provider must address in a co-ordinated way, these priorities and meet the identified needs of the wards they are submitting an application for, with a focus on the age range of 9-19 (up to 24 years; with SEND) with proposals designed to reach 25% of the youth population for the ward. Proposals must have an evidence base for successfully delivering projects and improving outcomes for children & young people. Providers will be expected to utilise the Outcome Star for the purpose of this programme.
