The works purpose is to provide an additional 128 parking spaces to the existing parking provision on site. The project involves the extension of the reinforced grass overflow parking area on Moon’s Field, south of the existing main and overflow car parks in Worden Park, Leyland. The area to be surfaced is currently an open green field at the eastern side of the park, west of Worden Lane.
