The technique causes two liquid streams (which may or may not contain a solid phase) to come into contact under an impinging flow path. The liquid feed streams are delivered under high pressures through narrow channels and will therefore impact at extremely high velocities. This process maximizes the energy-per-unit fluid volume, resulting in uniform distributions of submicron particles. The ability to process emulsions and particle dispersions and to also disrupt cells highlights the versatility and usefulness of the technique. ## CPV classification Laboratory, optical and precision equipments (excl. glasses) Source Contracts Finder (UK) [View official notice](https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/notice/753836fb-adc9-11e6-9901-0019b9f3037b) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
