The repair and maintenance includes electrical, mechanical, (gas safe works), roadworks (highway maintenance) and plumbing. This will include reactive maintenance and planned works. In addition to the various building works it will also comprise the maintenance and repair of unrelated external works such as paving, walls, fencing, footbridges, signs, street furniture, drainage, water supply pipes (allotments) within the boundary of the City of Gloucester. Procurement will be via the Restricted procedure. The current programme anticipates commencement of the contract on 1st August 2015 to 31st July 2018 with an option for the Council to offer to extend for a period or periods of up to two years.
