Schemes may be tendered individually or grouped together. Contractors must specify which areas they want to work in by completing and submitting Appendix 1. Over the course of the next 12 months CPS will invite all approved contractors to tender for contracts in the areas they have specified. CPS will tender contracts through a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). A DPS allows contractors who have met a selection criteria to bid for contracts when they become available for tender. A contractor may register at any point during the lifetime of the DPS, which will remain open for 12 months. There is no limit on the numbers of contractors allowed to be part of the DPS and no guarantee of work. If a contractor does not currently meet the selection criteria it can reapply if its circumstances change at any time during the life of the DPS.
