SFRS sees an opportunity to provide a response capability, appropriately equipped and crewed to attend smaller scale incidents and help to reduce risk or the potential for incident escalation, in a number of initial locations across the county. This approach should support a more cost effective, sustainable and reliable crewing model. As part of a successful concept package, a robust training plan and proof of safe systems of work are required. The purpose of this RFI is to confirm interest from as wide a range of providers as possible in relation to proposals to support an initial proof of concept.
