The successful Potential Provider(s) will be responsible for providing this service and liaising closely with the Contract Manager identified by the Authority. The Council's are collaborating on a joint procurement to create efficienicies whilst at the same time providing economies of scale in area where the spend and use may reduce to a number of initiaties to reduce building portofolio's and reductions in the use of cash within service areas as they move a more on-line digital first strategy where practical and possible, e.g. Pay for Parking by mobile phone or an online app within Cambridgeshire, new Project Angel building being developed within Northamptonshire. This however is not to say that their will not be new areas for collections within the authorities as well, e.g. collections from Park and Ride Sites. Cambridgeshire County Council along with Northamptonshire County Council and Northampton Borough Council (the "Council") wishes to call-off the framework for an initial period of three years with the option to extend for a further year and appoint that single Service Provider to deliver a secure Cash Management Solution which includes cash collections, processing, counting (when advised), transportation and depositing services from a large number of designated locations within the geographical boundaries of the County of Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire although some collections could be outside of the boundaries during the life of the arrangement.
