The range of services to be provided in Lots 2 and 3 by the Handy Van Service includes: Home Fire Safety Checks, installation, programming, handover, maintenance and servicing of Assistive Technology equipment (Telecare, Community Alarms, Telehealth etc.), practical assistance / small DIY tasks etc. The Single Point of Access Service in Lot 1 will administer all service requests for the two Handy Van Services. Tenders are invited from suitably experienced and qualified providers that have staff with the relevant/appropriate skills and experience to effectively manage and provide the services. The contract is for 3 years initially with an option to extend for a further 2 x 1 year periods. Tenderers may bid for one or more Lots. The maximum number of Lots to be awarded to any bidder is 2 provided that this includes Lot 1. The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 has been taken into consideration in the development of this service. TUPE may apply to this contract.
