The requirement is to appoint a supplier who is able to support, when required, the in house repairs and maintenance team in the delivery of the service. We require a provider who will be sufficiently qualified to provide a complete Non Licence Asbestos Removal Service to council owned dwelling properties on behalf of Richmondshire District Council as detailed within the tender specification document. As part of this tender, RDC are also looking for a supplier who can fully comply with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 details of which are contained within the specification document to provide a complete Non Licence Asbestos Removal Service, ensuring they will provide a written health and safety policy document detailing training records for each individual and provide the appropriate level of customer service and management support. The housing stock (1620 dwellings) range in terms of types and standards. Tenderers should note that not all of the Council’s housing stock are located within the central Richmond area. Richmond District is a rural area therefore road network limitations can present significant access problems and travel times.
