The project is intended to support SMEs with innovation, allowing access to consultancy and equipment to enable them to try out new technologies potentially leading to new products and ultimately supporting regional growth. The purpose of this tender is to contribute to the Scanning Electron Microscope capabilities that can be offered to SMEs accessing the Enabling Innovation project through the University of Derby. There is an intention to provide the latest and most flexible capability that can be made accessible to SMEs. This specification relates to procurement of a Bench Top Scanning Electron Microscope with a Back Scatter Detector, Gold Sputter Coater and Accessories Pack.
