The village stands approx. 2 miles outside the town of Grantham, on the A52 road travelling west to Nottingham. It is one of the largest villages in the district of South Kesteven and has a population of approximately 2000 people. Barrowby is also fortunate to have two small play areas within the village although the equipment is minimal and somewhat outdated. The Parish Council is keen to address this by creating imaginative spaces which include equipment and landscaping to inspire play and establish areas which are utilised and valued by the local Community.
