The council has had cashless parking as an alternative to traditional pay & display machines since 2009 and has seen an increase in use since it was introduced. The council is now seeking to appoint a service provider to expand the cashless service to include a virtual parking voucher system for residents and hotel guests. The service provider will be committed to working with the council to encourage increased use of the cashless parking system.
