The instruments responsible for flow cytometry and cell sorting, respectively, will have closely matched configurations and software, thus enabling experiments to be run under equivalent conditions. The instruments will be versatile with capability for high-throughput analyses, be well supported by after-sales technical expertise, will have validated quality assurance for instrument, associated consumables, software and applications, including in-built automatic data quality assessments and displays. They must have state-of-the-art sensitivity and enable remote digital access to data and software functions.
