This is a primary medical service to: - Provide access for patients with a identified primary care medical need who initially present at A&E - Provide urgent access to a GP during the out of hours period for patients assessed with a primary care need by the NHS111 service This will divided into LOTS, as determined in the Memorandum of Information. Lot 1 — Out of Hours Service, Lot 2 — Front of House Service, Lot 3 — Combined Out of Hours Service and Front of House Service. Further details as to activity levels can be found in the Memorandum of Information. If and when this requirement is offered to tender, this will be done via electronic means using the internet. Midlands and Lancashire CSU is conducting this procurement exercise as a central purchasing body for another NHS body with whom the successful bidder(s) will enter into contracts for the supply of the services.
