Between 2010 and 2013, 947 doctors either agreed to undertakings or were issued a condition or warning following the investigation of a complaint . Further information about how we investigate and act on concerns about doctors can be found in Annex A. We know very little about the impact of 'warnings' or restrictions on practice on doctors, and have limited information on what their experiences are of receiving a warning or restriction on their practice.
