CCFE conducts leading science research mainly in the field of nuclear research. This includes working with specific routine and radiological hazards. The on site occupational health services required are routine medical surveillance to meet statutory and non- statutory requirements; face to face medical reviews; delivery of specific medical services such as vaccinations; cause drug and substance abuse testing; wellbeing clinics; provision of general guidance on occupational health and on site senior management support. Off site services required are the provision of advice to managers and the HR department on occupational health issues; pre-employment vetting of Declaration of Health forms; administration and record keeping including booking of appointments; provision of specialist services such as physiotherapy and off site support by senior management.
