This will include the transfer of the property by way of a 125 year lease, the business attached to each home and an ongoing care services requirements for each Home in relation to existing residents. The purchaser of each Home will be required to keep it open and guarantee security of occupation in respect of exisiting residents for a minimum period of 3 years. The Council is looking to transfer the homes to organisations that are committed to providing high quality care services.
