The contract will be let as two separate lots. While you may submit bids for both, due to industry standards, the same supplier cannot be awarded both lots. - Lot 1 Asbestos Removal Works This will include all elements of asbestos removal and disposal works. The form of contract to be used is the JCT 2011 Measured Term Contract. - Lot 2 Asbestos Surveying and Analytical Services This will include all elements of asbestos surveying and analytical services. This contract is for a three year framework agreement with the possibility of an extension by one year. This framework agreement will be a call-off contract. The Council intends to use this arrangement for all of its schools and non-school premises.
