The purpose of the DLE is to drive the change towards a learning culture that maximises the potential of eLearning and other online resources. The Solution should provide a platform that engages council staff and other partners, promoting and significantly increasing access to learning opportunities. As part of the Solution, the Council should have access to a catalogue of e-Learning modules that can be tailored to meet its specific needs as required. The Solution is expected to be in place for an initial period of 2 years, with options to extend for a further period of 12 months to take the term up to a maximum of 3 years depending on the budget available.
