This commission requires the writing of a new Housing Strategy, and leading on the consultation process of this critical document. It will be important to ensure that the Housing Strategy is developed as a cross tenure document and covers a wide range of housing issues. It is expected that there will be at least six strategic consultation sessions, which enable a series of strategic partners and internal colleagues to participate in workshops that looks at the draft priorities, and key actions to deliver them, to help inform the drafting of the Housing Strategy. As well as the strategic workshops, organisations should allow for a minimum of 6 internal progress meetings with the group of officers named .
