Work may include the following: - Attendance at internal workshops and meetings as required in order to understand and develop your approach to contract management. - Attendance at external meetings with the contractor as required in order to ensure that contract issues are highlighted, discussed and resolved in a timely fashion. - Review of key legal documentation including the Payment Mechanism and Performance Framework in order to identify potential issues and to propose options for their resolution. - Provide the Council with proactive advice in relation to matters which are likely to have an impact on the contract. - Review management and financial information in respect of the contract. - Provide ad-hoc advice in relation to the operation of the contract and negotiations with the contractor.
