It has a population of approximately 130 000, with 2 main towns, the County town of Stafford and the town of Stone; along with a number of villages of various sizes. In addition to the current waste and recycling collection and processing service, the council is considering incorporating the following associated services into the new contract: - Street Cleansing and Associated Services - Customer Relations Management in connection with this service; - Communications and Public Relations in connection with the service.
