This will be done in the context of the Programmes overarching strategy, which consists of six strands of activity: 1. Employment & Skills Development - apprenticeships wage subsidies, up skilling, specialist skills training and pathways to employment.-; 2. Business Support and advice - helping local businesses to diversify and enter the supply chain; 3. Site assembly - readying land to create suitable investment and employment sites; 4. Inward investment - delivering a coordinated and proactive inward investment campaign to attract high level supply chains to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) alongside proactive targeted overseas visits and trade missions; 5. Business Investment Grants - capital grants to businesses to support sustainable investment, lowering the relocation and expansion costs for supply chain companies; 6. Research, Development & Innovation - Facilitating concept to commercialisation route, R, D & I for key industries.
