The Leap Cross site consists of 12 business units that are falling in disrepair. The site will be vacated on the 31 December 2015. The Council received planning approval on 15 October 2015 to replace the existing buildings with 12 new Council Homes – 3 x one bedroom flats, 3 x 2 bedroom flats, 4 x two bedroom houses and 2 x three bedroom houses. The completed homes will be part of the Council’s rented stock. The homes therefore need to be good quality and low maintenance. The Council has appointed architects to planning submission stage only.
