It is intended to replace the current 11kV rated dry mate connectors with a 33kV rated in-line joint and to terminate the cables with half of a 33kV dry mate connector. Four 300m cable tails, each consisting of a double armoured three-core cable, are laid to the north east as a bundle section over a distance of 160m from the TDU. Workscope to supply equipment to replace the current dry mate connectors with an in-line joints and to terminate the cables with half of a dry mate connector along with testing of cables onshore.
