This is to be a showcase project delivering green heat into two of Southend’s iconic buildings. The works will include: - A single CHP system to be located within the existing plant room located on the roof of the gallery. - Approximately 150 meters of pre-insulated twin piping run in a trench to supply the Central museum. - Equipping the system with all required heat exchangers, control valves, heat meters, pumps, remote meter reading etc. - Full visualisation package for public awareness fed into remote display screens and web site. - All civil works and access is to be included within the tender. - Registrations and certifications to be provided. Comprehensive drawings and a specification will be issued to contractors who express an interest and the works will be carried out under a JCT Contract. The tenders will be considered against an evaluation ratio of 80% for price and 20% for quality. Please submit your request to tender no later than 12 noon on 4th January 2016.
