The works will include installation of firebreaks from false ceiling to roof along either side of the corridors on a single storey school building. The void above the ceiling does not exceed 600mm. The firebreak can be in rockwool fire blanket or ½ hour fire rated plasterboard. All services passing through the break will need to be sealed with a ½ hour fire rated product. The successful contractor may be required to replace non fire rated glass in corridor walls Comprehensive drawings and a schedule of works will be issued to contractors who express an interest and the works will be carried out under a JCT Minor Works Contract. The quotations will be considered against an evaluation ratio of 80% for price and 20% for quality. Please submit your request to quote no later than 12 noon on 8th December 2015. We anticipate the quotes will be sent out on 8th December 2015 with a return date of 6th January2016. If you do not receive the quotations documents by the anticipated quotation issue date please contact us. The proposed commencement date of this project is 15th February 2016 and we anticipate a five week programme of works.
