The purpose of this piece of work is to develop a detailed growth action plan for sport and physical activity. The plan must be clear and detailed action plan so that we understand what sport manufacturing, retail, events and sub sectors within sport make, in terms economic impact, and can fully evidence the correlation to the local economy. We anticipate that this work will add clarity on the relative economic impact ( the baseline) and the business case ( opportunities and challenges) for growth in the sport and physical activity sector.
