[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](https://tendernation.io/opportunities/for-small-businesses) ## About this tender As part of our work delivered in 2015/16, the Catapult developed a database of IoT (Internet of Things) companies, funding, investment, research, meet-ups, collaborations, platforms, projects and products in the UK. We commissioned a visualization tool to allow the data to be viewed and partially manipulated from a web interface. From the resulting database asset we produced a number of short-form reports. In 2016/17 we are seeking to further develop and improve the core database asset – to create a comprehensive evidence base of IoT activity in the UK which can then be offered on an open-access model via an interactive and adaptive web interface, as well as offering a rich data resource for interrogation, modeling and analysis. We require bidders to propose a package of services to deliver a comprehensive and analytically robust database asset, in a readily machine-accessible format (both web-interface accessible and accessible by data-analysis and modelling tool-sets), with appropriate data-reliability testing and scoring to identify areas of statistical strength and weakness.
