The requirement is to deliver one Sustainability Appraisal scoping report for the remaining Inshore and Offshore Marine Plan Areas, as geographically defined at:[marinemanagement.org.uk](http://www.marinemanagement.org.uk/marineplanning/areas/index.htm) This work and relevant reporting will: • Be in accordance with the relevant SA legislation and guidance (including the SEA directive and relevant Planning Policy Statements, particularly 12 (local spatial planning) and 1 (sustainable development)) as well as supporting delivery of the UK’s Sustainable Development Strategy; • Include a SEA, in accordance with the SEA directive and practical guidance • Include an Equalities Assessment, in accordance with relevant legislation including the Equality Act 2010 and relevant guidance • Note that the references provided here are not exhaustive and, where appropriate, successor and additional documents / legislation / guidance should be referred to in responding to this specification.
