The requirement will cover the provision of unlicensed aseptic compounded specials, including sterile ready-to-administer injectable and infusion products that are batch manufactured or otherwise aseptically prepared in accordance with applicable UK regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. Suppliers will be required to hold all relevant licences, authorisations and regulatory approvals necessary to manufacture and supply unlicensed medicines within the UK, together with the appropriate quality assurance and batch release arrangements.
