Pre-Application advice has been received from Central Bedfordshire Council detailing requirements of the works. A summary of these is included in the Schedule of Works and the full Pre-Application Advice is available. The toilet block has been given non-designated heritage asset status by Central Bedfordshire Council. A planning application will be required for these works. A building condition survey has identified several structural issues to be addressed as part of the renovation. The Town Council's budget for this project is approximately £190,000-£210,000 including VAT.
