The service is to work with the local authority and key stakeholders (which will include community group representatives) to identify and address oral health gaps and opportunities. The provider will ensure they meet the needs of the community and further refine and shape the service, embedding a range of oral health promotion programmes that align with national and local strategic priorities. This programme will work alongside and complement the oral health provision under the existing Community Dental Service (CDS).
