These tanks can be either rectangular or circular and are to be constructed from Severn Trent designed modular pre-cast concrete panels which are much quicker to install than traditional offerings. The design of the base slab reinforcements should focus on creating a small catalogue of optimised repeatable units that can be deployed to any size of tank without major modification to the design philosophy.
