Kirklees Council is part of the West Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership comprising West Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Magistrates Court Service, Highways England and 5 local authorities (Bradford, Calderdale, Leeds and Wakefield are the other 4). The framework will consist of 5 Lots: - Lot 1 Purchase and Maintenance of Speed Cameras - Lot 2 Purchase and Maintenance of Average Speed Cameras - Lot 3 Purchase and Maintenance of Red Light Cameras - Lot 4 Purchase and Maintenance of Combined Red Light and Speed Cameras - Lot 5 Remedial Maintenance Lots 1-4 will include a call-off mechanism for purchasing both individual cameras and multiple units. The successful supplier will also be responsible for maintaining each camera for up to 10 years.
