[Queen's University Belfast](https://tendernation.io/buyers/queens-university-belfast) Estimated value £341,585 Published 1 Oct 2026 Deadline Closed 3 Aug 2026 ## Who can bid - Open procedure Anyone can submit a full tender; there is no shortlisting stage. ## About this tender AMIC wishes to procure a Tool Pre-Setting Area for CNC machining. AMIC will use the software and equipment to set, balance, heat shrink, and monitor cutting tools offline, improving setup efficiency and machining performance. It will support training in state-of-the-art presetting and tool management practices, while enabling digital integration and data-driven workflows to enhance control, consistency, and advanced manufacturing capability. The equipment will be located at the AMIC Factory of the Future, Global Point Newtownabbey, a facility for collaborative research projects with industry partners, therefore the Tool Pre-Setting Area will have lower usage rates than it would in a manufacturing environment. For a comprehensive description of the requirements please refer to document 260026 Contract Specification. ## CPV classification Measuring instruments Work benches Industrial machinery Industrial control software package Source Find a Tender (UK) · Notice ocds-h6vhtk-06c020-2026-10-01T11:19:38+01:00 [View official notice](https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/ocds-h6vhtk-06c020-2026-10-01T11:19:38+01:00) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
