The council would also like to understand through this process whether there is appetite for suppliers to expand on the existing network, by transforming existing DCC non-digital advertising sites into digital. As part of any future contract, it is anticipated that: - All existing digital sites included in the contract would require the installation of replacement bus shelters by the contract commencement date, funded entirely by the appointed contractor. - The design and specification of all shelters would be subject to approval by a designated DCC officer. - Any new or additional digital advertising sites (beyond the existing 15) would be subject to obtaining the necessary planning permissions.
