The main cooking island is dated and runs primarily on gas. As part of the colleges sustainability drive and to increase and upgrade facilities for students, the island unit is to be replaced. The new island will be served by modular, electric appliances. The existing extract canopy will remain unaltered with the exception of a revised layout of the Ansul Fire Suppression system. The Ansul alteration is being carried out by a Client Direct contractor and is not part of this tender.
