This need has been prompted by the announcement of the Places of Worship Renewal Fund (PWRF) primarily offering capital funding for repairs from April 2026. - by mid-April, a basic document is made available which identifies POW funders (i.e. what they will and won't fund, the range of grants available, contact details etc) - by mid-May (when PWRF applicants whose expressions of interest will not be taken forward into full applications will be notified) a more detailed guidance note is available to support further fund-raising, in the form of a decision-tree that helps POW volunteers navigate the POW funding sector.
