Short Breaks are designed to: - Support CYP with SEND to access meaningful activities, develop independence and social connections - Provide carers with essential, planned respite - Offer a mix of community based and specialist provision across daytime, evening, weekend and overnight settings. It is currently proposed that there will be a 5-year delivery timeline with service delivery starting on 1st April 2028, and the initial term ending on 31st March 2033. Extension options are possible.
